IWM Milena Jesenska Fellowships

The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) has published a new call for application for its Milena Jesenska Fellowships for Journalists 2012/2013. Deadline for submissions: April 10, 2012.

The program offers European cultural journalists (incl. Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan) time off from their professional duties in order to pursue in-depth research on a topic of their choice. Candidates are asked to relate their proposals to one of the main research fields of the IWM (for details please see www.iwm.at/research).

Fellows will spend 3 months at the IWM in Vienna, Austria. They will receive a stipend of EUR 7.630 and are provided with an office, access to e-mail and internet, in-house research facilities and other relevant resources in Vienna. Travel grants of up to EUR 1.820 can be paid for research trips to neighbouring countries.
