Die geplante internationale Tagung (22.-23. März 2009) möchte Bildern und Begriffen des Marranentums, ihrer Entstehung und Rezeption nachgehen und diese vorstellen und diskutieren. Dafür sind Beiträge erwünscht, die anhand empirischen Materials inhaltliche oder methodologisch-theoretische Fragestellungen bearbeiten und diese v.a. als Beitrag zur historisch-soziologischen Charakterisierung des Marranentums insbesondere im 19. Jahrhundert verstehen.
Einreichschluss ist der 1. Dezember 2008.
The planned international conference (March 22-23, 2009) will investigate images and concepts of Marranism by discussing how they have been received through history. To that end, proposals are solicited that pose methodological-theoretical questions based on empirical research, and that deepen our historical-sociological characterisation of Marranism, with a particular emphasis the period of the 19th century.
Deadline for submissions: December 1, 2008.
